New! JDR 3rd Scholars Program Announces Grant Competition on Multiple-Use Water Services in India

The John D. Rockefeller 3rd Scholars Program at Winrock International, with support from UNICEF India, announces an open grant competition to select a research team on the topic: ‘Multiple-Use Water Services to Reduce Poverty and Vulnerability to Climate Change.’ The research will identify opportunities to upgrade current drinking water systems to provide multiple-use services, and to develop a framework for piloting MUS which is resilient to climate change. This report provides an assessment of the costs, benefits and poverty impacts of multiple-use water services and populations that could be reached in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.
